In October we had a tremendously fun time exploring dance making and improvisation with our audiences!
In this close-up intimate performance, audience members were given words from different categories including adjectives, nouns, body parts, pathways/shapes, tempo/speed, etc. Using audience suggestions, the company dancers improvised while a live jazz trio played! Afterward, audiences were introduced to compositional tools. They were able to direct the choreography of a short dance, performed by the company in real time.
We are very excited to be bringing this interactive program to Upper Arlington City Schools in December of 2018! Stay tuned for future performances.
