Hixon Dance, a Modern dance company based in Columbus, Ohio, is currently seeking 1 guest artist performer and collaborator of any gender aged 20 or older for the 2025-2026 season. We are looking for a highly motivated, athletic, and versatile dancer with solid training in modern and ballet dance. Candidate must have extensive performance experience and be available for all agreed. upon company classes, rehearsals, performances, and outreach opportunities. Interest in collaboration, positive attitude, and reliability are a must. Monthly stipends and honorarium for all performances available. 


Please upload a résumé or CV, a current headshot, and a link to a video reel. Video reel should clearly demonstrate performer's range of technical and performing skill. A demonstration of improvisation would also be highly beneficial. Please clearly indicate the applicant in each portion of the reel, and include information if the choreography is also that of the applicant.

 

Please include any teaching experience in your materials if you are interested in paid teaching opportunities.
